For those of us who celebrate Christmas it is a very special time of the year. We get together with family and friends. For many of us it a time of awakening spirituality, to me it is a time of love caring and giving. There is also a lot of eating so we have to have mindfulness eating.
Yes it is a time that is hard to have physical weight loss, but if we eat right we don't have to put on weight. Eat the exercise foods like low fats, fresh vegetable and whole grain foods. It is not that difficult and you stay healthy to the boot.
Watching children this time of year is special. They are so excited about what Santa might bring them. When I was a little boy all I wanted for Christmas was something for my train set. When I awoke Christmas morning and found Santa in fact did leave me something for my train set. I would quickly get it out of the package and take it and put in the train set. There was one problem. Christmas day I could never play with my train set because and Dad and Uncles played with most of the day. The way I looked at it I had the rest of the year to play with my train set and in fact I did.
After our family opened our gifts, which we did Christmas morning, I would go over t my friend’s houses to see what Sana left them. Everyone was so happy and had smiles on their faces that could light up a Christmas tree.
For me Christmas has not lost its magic. People all seem joyous and just want to have a happy time with all who is around them.
So Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and a Happy Holiday to all
